Dr. Truong holds three board-certifications including The American Board of Surgery, The American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Truong's significant professional achievements have earned him recognition as one of America’s top surgeons in the field of cosmetic surgery by the Consumer’s Research Council of America and listed as one of Chicago's Top 10 Surgeons . After graduating at the top of his high school class in Denver, Colorado, Dr. Truong was accepted to the University of Notre Dame on a full academic scholarship. He graduated from Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree, with a double-major in Pre-Medical Studies and English.
