Provider profiles built from verified public records — NPI and state medical boards. See how we earn your trust

How we earn your trust

Aesthetic medicine is full of marketing. Whelth starts from a different place: public records, honest labels, and rules that don't bend for money.

Built from public records

Every provider profile starts from verifiable government data: the CMS National Provider Identifier Registry and state medical board records. We show each surgeon's license number and its issuing state right on their profile, so you can check it yourself.

Identity-verified claims

When a provider claims their profile, we verify it's really them — instantly when their email matches their practice's domain, or by manual review. The Whelth Verified badge means exactly that: identity confirmed. It is never sold.

Distance-first listings

Provider listings are ordered by relevance and distance from you, so the surgeons you see first are the ones you can actually get to. Claimed, identity-verified, and featured profiles are labeled as such — and unclaimed profiles are never hidden.

Free for patients, always

Patients never pay to use Whelth, and we don't sell your personal information. The platform is funded by provider subscriptions and placements, always labeled — and reviews are never for sale.

What we're building next

We believe trust is earned in public, so here's our roadmap: live license-status checks against state medical boards, independent board-certification verification, and a review system where every published review comes from a confirmed patient consultation. Until a feature ships, we won't claim it. For exactly where each piece of data on this site comes from, read our Editorial & Data Policy.
