How we earn your trust

Built from public records

Every provider profile starts from verifiable government data: the CMS National Provider Identifier Registry and state medical board records. We show each provider's license number and its issuing state right on their profile so you can check it yourself.

Claimed profiles are checked

When a provider claims their profile, we confirm it's really them: instantly when their email matches their practice's domain, or by manual review. A Claimed badge means the provider took ownership and manages what's on the page. It isn't a quality rating, and it never changes where they rank.

Straightforward listings

Listings are ordered by relevance and distance from you, so the providers you see first are the ones you can actually get to. Featured profiles are labeled as such, unclaimed profiles are never hidden, and every practice is held to the same standard.

We say what we know, and only that

Every fact on a profile traces back to a source: a public registry, a state board, or the practice's own published information. When we can't verify something, we leave it out. Until a feature ships, we won't claim it.

Where we're going

We believe trust is earned in public. That's why our roadmap is open: live license-status checks against state medical boards, independent board-certification verification, and a review system where every published review comes from a confirmed patient.
