Treatments in this category

Veneers

Porcelain or composite shells bonded to the front of teeth — the signature smile-transformation treatment.

Smile Makeover

A planned combination of treatments — veneers, whitening, contouring — designed around your whole smile.

Dental Implants

Titanium posts that replace missing tooth roots, restored with natural-looking crowns.

All-on-4 & Full-Arch

A full arch of fixed replacement teeth supported by four to six implants — often placed in a day.

Dental Bonding

Sculpted composite resin that repairs chips, gaps and edges in a single visit.

Gum Contouring

Reshaping the gum line to fix a gummy smile or uneven framing around the teeth.

Teeth Whitening

Professional in-office whitening — faster and stronger than take-home kits.

Clear Aligners

Invisalign-style trays that straighten teeth without braces.

Dental Crowns

Full-coverage porcelain or zirconia restorations for damaged or root-treated teeth.

Full Mouth Reconstruction

Comprehensive rebuilding of both arches when wear, damage or loss affects most teeth.

What counts as cosmetic dentistry?

“Cosmetic dentist” isn't a recognized dental specialty — any licensed dentist can use the title. That's why Whelth doesn't take the label at face value: a practice appears in this directory only when its own website names a qualifying cosmetic treatment such as veneers, smile makeovers, bonding, gum contouring, or implant-based smile restoration. Whitening and clear aligners are listed on profiles when offered, but on their own they don't make a practice cosmetic — nearly every general dentist offers them.

How to choose a cosmetic dentist

What to look for

  • A licensed dentist (DDS/DMD) you can look up by name — cosmetic dentistry is not a recognized specialty, so the license is the credential
  • A portfolio of their OWN before-and-afters for the treatment you want, not stock smiles
  • A smile design or mock-up step (wax-up, digital preview, or trial smile) before permanent work
  • Straight answers on how much healthy enamel a veneer prep removes — it's irreversible
  • Transparent per-tooth and full-case pricing, including temporaries and follow-ups

Be wary of

  • Heavy-prep veneers pitched as the only option without discussing bonding or minimal-prep alternatives
  • Full-arch or full-mouth treatment plans on the first visit, priced before any exam
  • Before-and-afters that all look like the same set of teeth, or watermarks from other clinics
  • Medical-tourism-style package pressure — a permanent smile isn't a same-day discount decision

General guidance to help you compare — not medical advice or a rating of any specific provider.
