About Wooten Dentistry

Jonathan Wooten was raised in the rural town of Kingstree, South Carolina. He graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina, where he majored in chemistry and minored in music. Dr. Wooten earned his DMD—Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry—at the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his General Practice Residency at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. While Dr. Wooten’s training is based in more difficult, comprehensive dental procedures, his focus has always been on patient comfort. He believes it’s important to educate his patients, so they can make well-informed decisions about their dental health. Dr. Wooten has been practicing dentistry in Columbus, Ohio since 2011. I became a dentist because I enjoy helping people in a tangible way. If someone comes to me in pain, I can fix it. If a person is unhappy with something about their teeth, we can find a resolution.
