Metropolis Dermatology is a Southern California dermatology group offering medical, cosmetic, and laser dermatology alongside in-house dermatopathology and clinical trials. Dr. James Y. Wang opened the practice's first location in downtown Los Angeles in April 2019 and a second in Brentwood in February 2022; it now operates five offices, in Downtown LA, Brentwood, Pasadena, Costa Mesa, and San Jose. Dr. Wang and Alison Deans, MHA serve as co-CEOs, with Wang leading clinical direction and Deans overseeing operations. The clinical team spans six physicians plus seven physician associates and nurse practitioners across the five sites, and the practice accepts most major PPO plans.
