About Riana Sanyal
Dr. Riana Sanyal is a dermatologist at Metropolis Dermatology's Pasadena office, practicing medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She graduated magna cum laude with a BS in human biology from Brown University and was awarded the Klingenstein National Merit Scholarship to attend the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she completed a dual MD/MS in clinical research. She completed her dermatology residency at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, serving as chief resident. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, abstracts, and textbook chapters on cutaneous immunology, dermatopathology, and biologic therapies, and was recognized by the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery with its Women in Energy Based Devices Early Career Award.
