About Kaitlyn Yim

Dr. Kaitlyn Yim is a dermatopathologist at Metropolis Dermatology who treats medical dermatologic conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections, skin cancer, and pigmentary lesions including melanoma, and who also practices procedural and cosmetic dermatology including injectables and lasers. Originally from Honolulu, she was accepted into USC's Baccalaureate MD Program and graduated summa cum laude in philosophy before completing her MD at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. She completed her internship at Cedars-Sinai and her dermatology residency at LAC+USC Medical Center, followed by a dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts. She has published dozens of peer-reviewed articles and a textbook chapter.
