About Tessa Meyer

Dr. Tessa Meyer is an associate cosmetic surgeon at Cosmetic Surgery Affiliates, a position she accepted after completing a surgical fellowship at the practice under Dr. Nuveen and Dr. Caplin. She comes from a general surgery background, having completed a five-year residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, with experience spanning trauma, thoracic, vascular, endocrine, gastrointestinal, transplant, minimally invasive, and plastic surgery. As a junior resident she led the COVID-19 intensive care unit, and as a senior resident she led the trauma resuscitation unit at Shock Trauma in Baltimore. At residency graduation she received the Attending's Choice Chief Resident of the Year Award and the Patient Advocacy Award. She earned her medical degree at St. George's University following undergraduate study at Trinity Western University.
