About Shahram Salemy

Shahram Salemy, MD, FACS is a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing cosmetic surgery of the face, breasts, and body in Seattle, Washington, and has been in practice since 2005. A native of Austin, Texas, he graduated from Yale University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry, where he captained the men's varsity soccer team in 1994, and earned his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine in 1999. He completed a six-year residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Washington School of Medicine, finishing in 2005, then practiced in Washington, DC, where he was named Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the George Washington School of Medicine. He was appointed a Clinical Instructor at the University of Washington in 2013 and promoted to Clinical Associate Professor effective July 2022, teaching plastic surgery chief residents in cosmetic surgery. In 2014 he built his own clinic and ambulatory surgery center in Seattle, and he is a past president of the Northwest Society of Plastic Surgeons.
