About Navid Pourtaheri
Navid Pourtaheri, MD, PhD is the founder and lead surgeon of Bay Area Esthetics Plastic Surgery, with offices in San Francisco and Santa Rosa, California. He took engineering degrees at Tulane University and his MS, PhD and MD at Duke University, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha and served as student-body president. He completed plastic surgery residency at Case Western Reserve University under Bahman Guyuron and a craniofacial fellowship at Yale, then served as Assistant Professor and Director of Cleft and Craniomaxillofacial Surgery at Indiana University. He is Chief of Plastic Surgery, Hand Surgery and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
