About Miguel Gallegos

Dr. Miguel Gallegos is a board-certified plastic surgeon and founder of Hermosa Plastic Surgery in Albuquerque, NM, in practice since 1999. He earned his undergraduate degree in pharmacy from the University of New Mexico and his M.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, completed general surgery training at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston with a fellowship in advanced microsurgery at St. Joseph Hospital, and completed his plastic surgery residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital with additional pediatric plastic surgery training at Chicago's Children's Memorial Hospital and Shriners Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and holds privileges at Presbyterian and Lovelace Health System hospitals in Albuquerque. His practice focuses on breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction, fat transfer, and facelift procedures, along with cosmetic injectables, laser treatments, and hair restoration.
