About Matthew Nykiel
Dr. Matthew J. Nykiel is a board-certified surgeon practicing cosmetic plastic surgery at SoCal Plastic Surgeons, with offices in Newport Beach and Upland, CA. He completed the cosmetic fellowship endorsed by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He was previously a member of the Stanford University Plastic Surgery faculty, earned his medical degree from Indiana University, and completed a plastic surgery residency in St. Louis where he was Administrative Chief Resident. He is a certified VASER liposuction trainer who teaches his techniques to visiting physicians. He is known for hourglass body sculpting, combining liposuction, fat transfers, breast augmentation and lifts, and tummy tucks.
