Jose Barrera, MD is a facial plastic surgeon in San Antonio, Texas, practicing at the Texas Center for Facial Plastic and Laser Surgery. He is triple board-certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Sleep Medicine, and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and serves as a board examiner with the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1994 and the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1998, completed an otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency in 2003 and two Stanford University fellowships from 2006 to 2008, in sleep and maxillofacial surgery and in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He served as Chairman of Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery at Brooke Army Medical Center, teaches as a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University, and specializes in rhinoplasty, facelift and eyelid rejuvenation.
