About John Wakelin
John Wakelin, MD, FACS is a plastic surgeon at Columbus Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery whose background includes a degree in philosophy alongside his medical training. He completed a general surgery residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center and a plastic surgery residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center, where he received a residency teaching award in 2018 and serves on clinical faculty. He has been named one of "America's Top Plastic Surgeons" by the Consumer's Research Council of America every year since 2006.
