About John Q. Cook

John Q. Cook, M.D. is the founder and medical director of the Whole Beauty Institute in Chicago and Winnetka, Illinois, one of the first practices in the Midwest to fuse high-level surgical and medical aesthetics. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is known for facelift under local anesthesia, plastic surgery of the breast, and advanced body contour surgery. He graduated cum laude from Yale University, earned his MD at Northwestern University, and completed eight years of advanced postdoctoral training at Rush University Medical Center and Northwestern University Medical Center. For more than 20 years he has been on the faculty of Rush Medical College and the staff of Rush University Medical Center, where he plays an active role in the Plastic Surgery Fellowship. His recognitions include U.S. News Top Doctor, Castle Connolly Top Doctor for 10 consecutive years, and Best Doctors in America.
