About Jeffrey Hopkins

Jeffrey D. Hopkins, MD is the sole surgeon at J. Hopkins Plastic Surgery in Dallas, Texas. He is triple board-certified, by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in both plastic and reconstructive surgery and in hand surgery, and by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He received his DDS from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1987 and trained in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Washington Hospital Center, then earned his MD at the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1993. He completed plastic and reconstructive surgery training at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan, and hand, upper extremity and microsurgery training at Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. He began private practice in the Dallas area in 1999 and holds staff appointments at Methodist Charlton, Methodist Dallas and Methodist Mansfield medical centers.
