About Drew Sanderson
Dr. Drew Sanderson is board-certified in both plastic surgery and otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, with more than 13 years of medical and surgical experience. He earned a Bachelor of Science in respiratory therapy from Texas State University before attending medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where he graduated in the top 20 percent of his class. He completed an otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency at UT Health Science Center San Antonio and then a second residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He volunteered for the United States Army Reserve immediately after medical school and has served 13 years including one combat deployment to Iraq, currently holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
