David Abramson, MD

About David Abramson

David L. Abramson, MD is a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery in Manhattan and northern New Jersey. He completed undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University, earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in 1988, and completed a general surgery residency at SUNY Downstate followed by a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery and a craniofacial surgery fellowship at the Harvard/Brigham/Children's Division of Plastic Surgery, where he held a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School. He has served as Chairman of the Division of Plastic Surgery at SUNY and as Program Director of the oldest plastic surgery residency in the United States, and has been Chief of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Englewood Health since 2009. Dr. Abramson has published more than 30 articles and book chapters and has described new techniques for facelift, abdominoplasty, breast reduction and breast reconstruction. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
