About Courtney Caplin

Dr. Courtney Caplin is a triple board-certified cosmetic surgeon holding diplomate status with the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She holds both medical and dental degrees and served as chief resident during her oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Florida, where she was recognized for ethics and kindness while performing complex facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. She then completed a selective combined fellowship in general cosmetic surgery and facial cosmetic surgery under Dr. E. Antonio Mangubat in Seattle. She joined Cosmetic Surgery Affiliates in 2016, bringing expertise in transgender surgical techniques and complex facial reconstruction, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma, where she trains students and surgical residents. She has volunteered on surgical mission trips in Central and South America correcting cleft lip and palate and other facial differences.
