About Carlos Burnett
Carlos Burnett, MD, FACS is a plastic surgeon and the founder of Burnett Plastic Surgery in Westfield, New Jersey, which he established in 1996. A native of Brooklyn, New York, he earned his bachelor's degree at Columbia College and his medical degree at NYU School of Medicine, completed a general surgery residency at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn and a two-year hand and plastic surgery fellowship at USC and LA County Hospital, and finished his plastic surgery training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, first certified in 1999 and recertified in 2009 and 2019.
