About Aric Aghayan

Aric Aghayan, MD is a plastic surgeon and the lead surgeon at Après Plastic Surgery in Portland, Oregon, where his focus is breast and body surgery using VASER liposuction and Renuvion skin tightening. He earned his bachelor's degree and medical degree at the University of Missouri–Kansas City, then completed a general surgery internship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, followed by an eight-year general and plastic surgery training program at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. He served in the United States Navy as a general medical officer, as assistant battalion surgeon in Iraq and as battalion surgeon in Afghanistan, receiving the Navy Commendation Medal, the Navy Achievement Medal and the Combat Action Ribbon. He holds medical privileges at East Portland Surgery Center and Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, and the practice credits him with over 1,600 body contouring procedures.
