About William Samson, MD

William Samson, MD is a plastic surgeon who specializes in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Although Dr. Samson performs a wide variety of services, he has a particular interest in breast reconstruction and aesthetic breast surgery. He developed his interest in cancer as an undergraduate at Tufts University. While earning his Bachelor’s in Science, he participated in an independent research program at The Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School. He continued his research work in the Department of Tumor Immunology, for a year, as a Research Fellow, before matriculating to medical school. Dr. Samson obtained his medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He then completed a 5 year general surgery program at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Cornell. During his surgical training he was drawn to technical subspecialties.
