Thrive Medical is an independent adult primary care group serving the greater Austin, Texas area from five clinics in Round Rock, Leander, Pflugerville, north Austin and Kyle. It was founded in 2018 by Brad Venghaus, MD, a physician certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine; Gail Crear, MD joined as a founding physician in 2019. The practice treats patients aged 18 and older and offers annual wellness exams, chronic disease management, vaccinations, minor procedures, sexual health care and hormone therapy. Its medical weight loss program uses semaglutide and tirzepatide alongside body composition and bloodwork analysis. The group remains independently owned and accepts most major insurance plans.
