Since starting practice in 1995, Dr. George Shashoua has been a pioneer in the treatment of urogynecology conditions, such as urinary incontinence , perineal descent , and pelvic organ prolapse ( cystocele , enterocele , and/or rectocele ). While practicing OBGYN for 16 years, he found his passion in urogynecology procedures and branched off to start his own practice, in 2010, focusing solely on female pelvic reconstructive surgery. He was early to adopt the use of the Da Vinci robot , starting in 2007.
