Dr. Ramineni is the founder of District Plastic Surgery. He is a board certified plastic surgeon who has been performing surgery for over 20 years. He has performed over 15,000 surgeries. He started his career as one of the busiest surgeons at Medstar Washington Hospital Center where he was the Chief of the Plastic Surgery Department. He performed a variety of complex reconstructive and aesthetic surgery including cancer and trauma surgery, microsurgery, gender affirmation surgery, and aesthetic surgery. As a clinical professor for Georgetown University Plastic Surgery, he taught over 100 residents, medical students and other surgeons. He transitioned to private practice nearly 10 years ago to provide a better patient experience. He has been voted a Washingtonian Top doctor over 10 times and has been a Castle Connolly top doctor for multiple years.
