New Century Ophthalmology, which also trades as NCO Eye Center, is an ophthalmology practice founded in 2001 when Vinod K. Jindal, MD, FACS opened the first ophthalmology practice in Granville County, North Carolina, in Oxford; a second office opened in Raleigh in December 2009. The practice covers cataract, retina, glaucoma, cornea and dry eye care alongside a dedicated oculoplastic and facial aesthetic line. Aesthetic services include upper and lower blepharoplasty, ptosis repair, brow lift, eyelid reconstruction, and IPL and radiofrequency skin treatments, with its surgeons also performing facelift, neck lift, neurotoxin injection and hair restoration. Two of its three physicians, Sumeet Jindal, MD, MBA and Samantha Prabakaran, MD, are fellowship-trained in oculoplastic and facial cosmetic surgery. The practice serves patients across Oxford, Raleigh and the surrounding Granville, Vance and Warren county areas.
