About Sumeet Jindal

Sumeet Jindal, MD, MBA is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained oculoplastic and reconstructive surgeon at New Century Ophthalmology in Oxford and Raleigh, North Carolina, and the son of the practice's founder Vinod K. Jindal, MD. An Oxford, NC native, he was accepted into East Carolina University's Brody School of Medicine directly from high school through an intensive BS/MD/MBA program, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in medical retina at Duke University. He completed ophthalmic surgical training at Virginia Commonwealth University and a fellowship in oculoplastic and facial cosmetic surgery in Orlando, Florida. His practice covers laser cataract surgery with advanced intraocular lenses, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and oculofacial cosmetic surgery including upper and lower blepharoplasty, brow lifts, facelifts and neck lifts, along with trauma and skin cancer reconstruction, laser treatments and hair restoration.
