Love.Life is an integrated health and wellness club in El Segundo, California, co-founded in 2020 by Whole Foods Market co-founder and former chief executive John Mackey with former co-chief executive Walter Robb and former Whole Foods executive Betsy Foster. Its 45,000-square-foot flagship opened in 2024 on South Pacific Coast Highway in Plaza El Segundo and combines a medical clinic, fitness and performance facility, recovery and spa services and a restaurant open to the public. The medical side is rooted in functional medicine, with board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, dietitians, physical therapists, and behavioral health and acupuncture practitioners treating hormone, cardiometabolic, gastrointestinal, thyroid and adrenal health. Diagnostics include lab panels measuring more than 120 biomarkers, DEXA scans, body composition and bone density testing, VO2 max, continuous glucose monitoring, genetic testing and microbiome analysis, while recovery offerings include hyperbaric oxygen chambers, an IV recovery lounge, cryotherapy, red-light beds and PEMF. Love.Life operates on an annual membership model rather than billing insurance directly.
