Gables Plastic Surgery is the Coral Gables, Florida practice of Dr. Jorge de la Pedraja, a board-certified plastic surgeon serving Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, Miami, Miami Beach, Pinecrest, and the broader South Florida area. A Miami native, he earned degrees in biology and chemistry from the University of Miami, a master's from Georgetown, and his MD from the University of Kansas, then trained in general and plastic/reconstructive surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, serving as chief resident in both, followed by an aesthetic and breast surgery fellowship under Dr. Scott Spear at Georgetown. He has performed thousands of procedures over more than 20 years and is active in breast-cancer reconstruction advocacy, giving lectures each October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
