About Dr. Sarah Hammond

Dr. Hammond began her surgical training here in Memphis, TN, completing a general surgery residency in a program nationally recognized for its rigorous educational curriculum, intensive clinical training, and resident physician accountability. She then completed a second residency in Plastic Aesthetic, Reconstructive, and Transgender Surgery at the University of Miami, refining and expanding her skills under the guidance of internationally known experts and master surgeons in aesthetic, reconstructive, transgender, and craniofacial surgery. Dr. Hammond then chose to pursue further training in pediatric plastic surgery at St. Jude Children s Hospital and LeBonheur Children s Hospital. She has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, co-authored noteworthy surgical textbook chapters, and continues to participate in medical education as a Clinical Preceptor for both Christian Brothers University’s and High Point University’s Physician Assistant programs.
