About Al Aly, MD

I grew up in Southern California and completed a bachelor s degree in psycho- biology at UCLA. Subsequently I received my medical degree from Georgetown School of Medicine in Washington DC and then spent two years in general surgery training at UCLA with another two years of research at the same institution. I then did another one-year research fellowship and then completed an ENT residency at Vanderbilt University. I then moved back to the Southern California area where I completed a fellowship in facial plastic surgery, mostly concentrated on rhinoplasty or nasal reshaping surgery, at the University of California Irvine. Because I trained originally in ENT and received special training in rhinoplasty, I have special interest and expertise in rhinoplasty. At this stage of my career I thought that I would end up practicing facial plastic surgery so I joined a private practice in the Beverly Hills area for 2 years.
