About Yngvar A. Hvistendahl
Dr. Yngvar A. Hvistendahl is a plastic surgeon and partner in the San Francisco Bay Area practice of Plastic Surgery Specialists. With over 22 years of experience in the field of plastic surgery, he has built a reputation for delivering natural-looking results from the practice's Marin County base. As a board-certified plastic surgeon, he specializes in a wide array of surgical procedures ranging from facelifts and body contouring to breast enhancements and reconstructive surgeries. He completed his training at UCSF and, five years after meeting Dr. Stanley Poulos as a community colleague, co-founded Plastic Surgery Specialists with him. He grew up in Norway before coming to San Francisco.
