About Walter L. Bernacki

Walter L. Bernacki, MD, FACS is a board-certified plastic surgeon who opened Ohio Plastic Surgery Specialists in Gahanna, Ohio in 2002 and has more than two decades in private practice. He graduated cum laude from Miami University and earned his medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, then completed a two-year plastic surgery fellowship with Summa Health System. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and takes part in its Maintenance of Certification programme. He was named chief of plastic surgery at Mount Carmel East Hospital and St. Ann's Hospital and was elected chairman of surgery at Mount Carmel East, overseeing most surgical specialties. He is a founding member of the Columbus Society of Plastic Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and his practice covers cosmetic, reconstructive and trauma plastic surgery.
