About Wael Kouli
Dr. Wael Kouli graduated from the University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine in 1996 and began his surgical internship at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. He completed his general surgical residency at MCP-Hahnemann Hospitals, Drexel University, in Philadelphia, serving as chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in weight loss surgery at the University Medical Center at Princeton and a fellowship in cosmetic surgery in Seattle, Washington. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. The practice operates locations in Del Mar, Coronado, and Newport Beach.
