About Vineet Mehan
Dr. Vineet Mehan is the founder and director of Dominion Plastic Surgery in Falls Church, Virginia, which he established in 2008 as Virginia's only surgeon-owned reconstructive and plastic surgery center. He performed the first microsurgical limb salvage procedure at Inova Fairfax Hospital and has led reconstructive surgery for professional athletes, including NFL quarterback Alex Smith in 2018 and MLB pitcher Paul DeJong in 2025. He trained at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Brown University, Memorial Sloan Kettering, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Pittsburgh.
