About Suresh Koneru
Suresh Koneru, MD is a board-certified plastic surgeon practising in San Antonio, Texas, where he has provided plastic and reconstructive surgery for more than 25 years. He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1989, after an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He completed general surgery internship and residency at the Hospital of St. Raphael in the Yale University affiliated program in New Haven, followed by plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland. He served as Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery for the Baptist Health System in San Antonio and as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in Alamo Heights, and was a clinical assistant professor of surgery at UTHSCSA from 1996 to 2005.
