About Shannon O'Brien

Shannon O'Brien, MD is a plastic surgeon with Portland Plastic Surgery Group in Portland, Oregon. She earned a BS in Zoology magna cum laude from Texas A&M University in 1997 and her medical degree from the University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio in 2002, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed a six-year integrated general, plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Cincinnati from 2002 to 2007. She is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Oregon Medical Association and the Oregon Society of Plastic Surgeons.
