About Ronald Friedman

Ronald M. Friedman, MD is a board-certified plastic surgeon in private practice in Plano, Texas since 1996, specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the breasts, body and face. He completed his undergraduate degree in 1985 and his medical degree in 1989 through Northwestern University's Honors Program in Medical Education, was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, then trained in general surgery from 1989 to 1992 and in plastic surgery from 1992 to 1994 at UT Southwestern Medical Center, followed by a hand and microsurgery fellowship at Loma Linda University. He formerly served on the full-time plastic surgery faculty at UT Southwestern, where he was Chief of Plastic Surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital, and has been on active staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Plano since 1995. He founded the West Plano Plastic Surgery Center in 2000 and continues to serve as its director. D Magazine has named him a Best Doctor twenty times, and he has published widely in plastic surgery journals and lectured nationally and internationally on more than thirty occasions.
