About Roberto Gonzalez
Dr. Roberto Gonzalez is a board-certified plastic surgeon skilled in all aspects of cosmetic surgery as well as reconstructive and general surgery, and has been a plastic surgeon at Ciao Bella Cosmetic Surgery & Vein Clinic since January 2017. Born in Tampico, Mexico, he developed an interest in medicine while shadowing his uncle, a cardiac surgeon at West Virginia University. He earned his medical degree at the Institute of Technology and Superior Studies of Monterrey in Mexico, then completed a plastic surgery research fellowship at the University of West Virginia, general surgery training, and a plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. From July 2006 to December 2016 he practiced as a plastic surgeon at UPMC Altoona in Pennsylvania, where he handled complex reconstructions for orthopedic and facial trauma along with cosmetic surgery.
