About Robert Wald
Robert M. Wald, Jr., MD is a double board-certified plastic surgeon who has been in private practice in Fullerton, California since 1986, trading as The Aesthetic Institute. He attended the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, graduating in 1978, then spent two years in general surgery at the University of Colorado. He completed a four-year otolaryngology residency followed by a two-year plastic surgery residency at UCLA, publishing numerous scientific articles across the eight years of combined training. He is on the clinical faculty at Harbor-UCLA teaching plastic surgery residents, is a past President of the Orange County Society of Plastic Surgeons, and holds privileges at St. Jude Medical Center and Placentia-Linda Hospital, where he served as Director of Medical Education for eight years and as chief of surgery in 1995 and 2004. He volunteers plastic surgery services to veterans and underprivileged Orange County residents.
