Robert M. Lowen, MD is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of ASPS and ASAPS. He earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1971, completed a surgical internship at CPMC San Francisco, spent 11 years as an ER physician and family practitioner at El Camino Hospital, then completed a general-surgery residency at Stanford and a Hand and Microsurgery fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 1988 — the year he established his Mountain View practice.
