About Robert Hardesty
Dr. Robert A. Hardesty has 30 years of plastic surgical experience and practices in Riverside, California, serving the Inland Empire and Southern California. He is the former Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he founded the first nationally accredited integrated Plastic Surgery Residency Training Program in the nation and has helped train over 40 board-certified plastic surgeons. He holds the academic rank of Clinical Professor at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and is a diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, having served as a question author for the qualifying exam and as a Senior Board Examiner for over a decade. He has served as President of the Medical Staff at Loma Linda University Medical Center, Chairman of the Plastic Surgery Research Council, and President of the California Society of Plastic Surgery. He has volunteered on international medical projects in Africa, Argentina, India, Mexico, Nepal, Vietnam and the Philippines.
