About Robert Galiano

Robert D. Galiano, MD is a plastic surgeon at Northwestern Plastic Surgery in Chicago and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Northwestern University. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. His aesthetic practice emphasizes breast augmentation, short-scar breast reduction, liposuction, abdominoplasty, skin-reducing procedures after massive weight loss, rhinoplasty, facelift and eyelid surgery, alongside a reconstructive practice in complex wound care, limb salvage, cancer defects, microsurgery and breast reconstruction. He earned a BA in biology and English literature from Washington University and completed plastic surgery training at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at New York University Medical Center. He is an editor of the textbook Current Therapy in Plastic Surgery.
