About Richard Swift

Richard W. Swift, Jr., MD, FACS is a New York City plastic surgeon board certified in both plastic surgery and general surgery. He completed his undergraduate education at Yale University and earned his medical degree through the Brown University Program in Medicine, where he won the Lange Medical Publications Award for Outstanding Achievement as a Medical Student and the Pilavin and Ira Galvin Medical Scholarships. He completed his general surgery residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Short Hills, New Jersey, and his plastic surgery residency at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, where he also taught anatomy to first-year medical students. He completed an aesthetic plastic surgery fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital under Dr. Sherrell Aston and Dr. Dan Baker, and is currently an attending surgeon there. He practises from a single Upper East Side office.
