About Rian Maercks

Rian A. Maercks, MD is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of The Maercks Institute in Miami, Florida, which he opened in 2009. He completed an integrated plastic and reconstructive surgical residency at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and the University of Cincinnati, trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Duke University Medical Center, and completed further fellowship training in Europe and in Central and South America. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. His practice emphasizes preserving individuality and identity in facial and body aesthetic surgery, and he sees patients in Miami and East Hampton.
