About Rex E. Moulton-Barrett
Dr. Rex E. Moulton-Barrett is an internationally known surgeon who holds the rare distinction of being board-certified in two distinct surgical specialties. He was educated in the United Kingdom and completed his medical degree at the University of Birmingham Medical School in England prior to a surgical residency in the United States. His extensive surgical training over 10 years includes The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, the University of California-Irvine in Head and Neck Surgery, and the University of Miami in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Licensed as a physician in California since 1989, he has active surgical privileges at Alta Bates Medical Center in Berkeley, Oakland Children's Hospital, Alameda Hospital, San Leandro Surgery Center and Sutter Delta Medical Center in Antioch. He participates with international volunteer health organizations, traveling to Vietnam, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua and the Philippines to perform reconstructive surgery.
