About Ramin Behmand

Ramin A. Behmand, MD, FACS is a plastic surgeon practicing in Franklin, Tennessee, serving the Nashville area. He graduated with honors from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, then completed a six-year plastic surgery residency at the University of Michigan, serving as academic chief resident in his final year, followed by an aesthetic fellowship in facial plastic surgery and rhinoplasty under Bahman Guyuron, MD. He practiced for the first twenty years of his career in the San Francisco Bay Area, including ten years as Chief of Plastic Surgery at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek and as a clinical assistant professor of surgery at UCSF, where he trained residents and fellows. He has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery since 2004 and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons since 2005. He has authored book chapters and journal articles and has participated in surgical mission trips to Colombia, Ethiopia, Haiti and the Philippines.
