About Raj Ambay
Dr. Raj Ambay is a double board-certified plastic surgeon who sees patients throughout Tampa and Wesley Chapel, and is one of only a few surgeons trained in plastic surgery, general and trauma surgery, oral surgery, dentistry, and clinical informatics. He is a retired Colonel in the United States Army who served as Chief of Surgery in Iraq and Afghanistan, earning numerous US and NATO medals and the Combat Action Badge. He is one of a select few plastic surgeons in central Florida with specialized training in both microsurgery and cosmetic surgery. He was recognized as one of America's Top Doctors by Castle Connolly and has received the President's Award from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He teaches plastic surgery residents at the University of South Florida and is a Faculty Mentor to physicians at Johns Hopkins Medical School.
