About Paul Proffer
After residency, Dr. Paul Proffer joined South Texas Eye Associates in Corpus Christi for two years, then joined Braverman-Terry Eye Associates in San Antonio, where he built a large ophthalmology practice performing cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid surgeries and BOTOX Cosmetic. In 2004 he was accepted to one of 13 fellowship positions in the country in oculofacial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, spending two years in an intensive program in Columbus, Ohio in conjunction with Ohio State University where he participated in over 2,800 surgical cases. In September 2006 he helped establish Proffer Surgical Associates in Amarillo. His practice interests include cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and laser and non-surgical rejuvenation of the eyelids, brows, and face, with nonsurgical options including injectable neurotoxins and fillers.
