About Omar Elfanagely
Omar Elfanagely, MD is a cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon at Kansas Plastic Surgery in Wichita. Born and raised in New Jersey, he earned a BS in biology and BA in psychology from Rutgers University and his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, completed his general surgery residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson with research fellowships at Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania, and his plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. He has authored thirty peer-reviewed articles in journals including JAMA Surgery, Annals of Surgery, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and pursued additional training under aesthetic surgeons in New York City and St. Louis.
